I have lived here in Chico for a year now. During that time I have made some of the most awesome friends.
Today my officemate, Peter, picked up my Thanksgiving turkey and delivered it to me at home. The university farm sells them smoked and Peter and I decided to try them. I bet they will be delicious.
My boss, laura, who by the way is the most awesome boss ever, is taking over for me tomorrow and doing a presentation I was to have done. She came over to have me drop the ppt on her thumb drive and bring me some goodies like chicken soup and pomegranate ice cream bars.
Jenn, another awesome friend, just stopped by to take Maggie for a long walk. Maggie has been nudging me and giving me the iwannagoforawalk look. Jenn loves her and volunteered to take her out. [the photo above is Jenn.]
Although I am sick life is good. I have amazing friends.
