The article below made me think that we are making up the rules as we go when it comes to collaboration on digital creations.
The game started ages ago. Face it. When people began sharing music, no one was complaining...at first. Once the software became common and music was swapped regularly did anyone try to regulate it. Society did the homework, the music industry got offended and then realized it was time to cash in. They could afford to.
As user created content has filled the net, the thievery has changed, and it is pretty sophisticated. I don't know a soul who has not/will not create something on the net.
I believe we need to back up the photographer who is in the article below. Sad as it is she may have said yes if they had given the courtesy of a request to use.
